As a leader in the electrical contracting field, Helix Electric is proud to offer Helix University, a training and development program that combines in-house instruction, technology and video material. The goal of Helix University is to offer training and education to employees in a variety of disciplines. Helix University courses cover a myriad of relevant topics from the latest advancements in electrical installations and engineering, to project management best practices, safety initiatives, job scheduling and budgeting.
Our industry is constantly changing, and Helix University is a place that our employees (and customers) can go to keep current on the latest trends and technologies.
Courses are taught by seasoned Helix superintendents, field representatives and other subject matter experts. To ensure that the course material is being delivered effectively, these individuals attend "train the trainer" courses, where they are educated on adult learning theory, group dynamics and classroom administration.
Helix courses are offered on a continuous basis throughout the year, and with class sizes that maximize one-on-one time between instructor and student.
