Summary: SJSU on-campus dormitory is the largest single project ever constructed by the California State University system. Project consists of three poured-in-place concrete housing structures: one 7-story, one 8-story and one 15-story with two 9-story wings over one large 2-story underground parking garage. Scope of work includes high-rise life safety system, full telephone and data communication system, building-wide security system and installation of customer-owned high voltage distribution system from existing site into the structure including sub-distribution. The building is being wired for the most modern high-tech capabilities available for this type of installation.
