Summary: Helix Electric is the largest constructor of lethal electrified fencing in the nation. This entirely new technology, developed in California, is installed between a prison's perimeter fences. This low maintenance, lethal fence is monitored by a central computer that provides detection, alarm and historical data whenever contact is made with the fence. Helix has completed 14 of these installations throughout California; eleven at existing facilities and three at newly constructed prisons in Susanville, Madera and Corcoran, California. The Corcoran facility is the state's largest prison with over 3 miles of electrified fencing.
